Why a blog Randy? That seems like a fair question I guess. It all started back about… oh I don’t know 5 or so years ago when I started sending out an article every Monday which I referred to as, “The Monday Morning Motivator.” The article consisted of sales advice and tips which I shared with my co-workers from my personal experience. That went on for 3 years until I decided to take a break.

During this break I faced a few personal setbacks and dove into Self Help books and audios written and recorded by philosophers like Jim Rohn, Randy Gage, Bob Proctor and Vic Johnson. It was Jim Rohn who taught me about bringing value to the Market Place. Here is what he said, “We get paid for bringing value to the marketplace. It takes time to bring value to the marketplace, but we get paid for the value, not the time.”

That statement had a huge impact on how I thought about my job. Most employees, (included myself) related the amount of their paycheck based on the amount of time or number of hours that they spent at work. But I began to understand that it was the value that I brought to the marketplace that mattered.

Randy Gage taught me that I was meant to be healthy, happy and prosperous and it took a while for me to realize that I was the one who was sabotaging my success in my personal life. His 5-book The Prosperity Series  really helped me to understand the universal laws that govern prosperity. One of the books title is called, Accept Your Abundance. I would recommend that you read that one first.

A few months ago it occurred to me that as big as the company that I worked for was, there was very little information in the form of inspiration or motivation for the employees with the exception of the annual sales meeting. Most of the time the only motivation found in the corporate world is fear-based. Rarely do we see motivation of any other type.  And so this past June I decided to appoint myself as the one to bring positive inspiration and motivation to my friends and co-workers in the form of this blog. So Randy-Higgins.com was born.

Creating this blog also gives me the opportunity to practice the “Giving and Receiving Law” of Prosperity. It gives me not only an opportunity to give my time and my experience…but it also allows me to share with you some of the advice and tips that I have received from others as well!

It is my hope and wish that you find the information in this blog beneficial and useful toward your success. And if you do my only request is that you Pay It Forward!
